Witherite Law Group to award $50k in scholarships to Chicago Public Schools students

Witherite Law Group and 1-800-TruckWreck are proud to have awarded $50,000 in scholarships to Chicago Public Schools students, supporting their pursuit of career-focused certification programs and long-term success.

The scholarships were provided in partnership with the North Lawndale Employment Network (NLEN), a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing economic opportunity through workforce development. Funding supports students enrolled in NLEN’s Craft Your Path program, which connects graduating seniors with hands-on training across a variety of in-demand industries, from accounting to skilled trades.

These scholarship awards were celebrated during the NLEN Signing Day event in Chicago, where students committed to continuing their education and building career pathways through specialized certification programs. The initiative reflects an ongoing commitment to removing financial barriers and expanding access to opportunity for students across the communities 1-800-TruckWreck serves.

Amy Witherite, founder of Witherite Law Group and 1-800-TruckWreck, emphasized the importance of investing in education and workforce development to help students build strong, sustainable futures. Through partnerships with organizations like NLEN, these efforts continue to make a meaningful, long-term impact.

Across Dallas, Atlanta, and Chicago, Witherite Law Group and 1-800-TruckWreck have awarded hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarships, reinforcing a shared mission to support education, career readiness, and community growth.
