1-800-TruckWreck, powered by Witherite Law Group, continues its commitment to supporting the Atlanta community through its “Making a Difference” Scholarship program.
In 2024, the organization awarded $160,000 in scholarships to 64 graduating seniors, helping students pursue higher education and create new opportunities for their future. Each student received a $2,500 scholarship, with the opportunity to renew the award annually by maintaining academic requirements. The increase in recipients from previous years reflects the growing need for financial support among students as education costs continue to rise.
Founded in 2016 by Amy Witherite, the program focuses on supporting students who demonstrate leadership and dedication within their schools and communities. The scholarship presentation, held at South Atlanta High School, recognized students for both their academic achievements and their impact beyond the classroom.
Investing in education is one way 1-800-TruckWreck supports the communities it serves. Programs like this help reduce financial barriers and create pathways to long-term success, empowering students to achieve their goals and make a positive impact in their communities.
That same commitment extends to helping individuals and families navigate challenging situations, including truck accidents that can have serious financial and long-term impacts.
