Judy is a proud native of East Texas and graduate of Palestine High School. She completed her undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University in 1986, and then she completed her paralegal training program at Tyler Junior College in 1989. In 1988, she began her career as a legal assistant in Tyler working on the behalf of plaintiffs, including many cases involving multimillion-dollar verdicts and settlements.
In 2002, Judy joined the team of Eberstein Witherite, and she quickly became a vital member of our trial team, as she works on cases from evaluation and initial filing through trial, settlement, and/or appeal. Judy maintains our dedication to serve our injured clients with excellent legal representation due to the negligence or misconduct of others.
Judy keeps herself busy with a variety of outdoors and fitness activities, including MS-150 fundraiser cycling events and obtaining a second-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. She enjoys animal behavior, history, travel, and films by the Cohen brothers. She and her husband enjoy living in the Dallas area, and they spend much of their free time training and exercising their two chocolate labrador retrievers.
