1-800-TruckWreck and St. Sabina Feed Thousands for the Holidays

Over 2,000 hot meals were served at Saint Sabina Catholic Church on Chicago’s South Side as part of a holiday tradition supporting families in need. For more than a decade, BJ’s Market & Bakery has partnered with St. Sabina to provide meals during the holidays, helping ensure that no family goes without a warm meal during the season.

This annual effort brings together community members, volunteers, and local organizations, reinforcing the importance of giving back and supporting one another. With support from 1-800-TruckWreck and Amy Witherite, this initiative continues to make a meaningful and lasting impact in the community.

Truck accidents and other unexpected events can place serious financial strain on families, especially during the holidays. Supporting local communities during difficult times reflects a broader commitment to helping those in need and strengthening the neighborhoods we serve.

Events like this highlight the power of community partnership and the difference that collective action can make for individuals and families facing hardship.
